Christmas without you

Well Christmas has thankfully come and gone and we've survived it somehow. How can we celebrate anything again without you here. We miss you every day and Christmas hasn't made it any worse or any better but it is a time you enjoyed because it meant all your family being together at some point and you did love that. Now when we are together we cant help thinking how much you would have loved it and of course we miss you so much that these thoughts are painful. Dad, Sue. Neil, Alex and I visited your grave yesterday and put some fresh flowers there. They looked lovely but coming away and leaving you there is so upsetting and seems to bring home, once again, that you are not here with us as we dearly wish. Nothing will ever be the same without you Mum.
